On 28 December 2009, two trucks laden with the goodwill of Lisheng people slowly drove out from Lisheng Group. After donating more than 200,000 yuan in cash and goods following the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, the group continued to carry forward the spirit of “when one place is in trouble, help comes from all sides”: it organised raw wheat and — while safeguarding food safety and supply for Jining city — donated 20 tons of wheat flour free of charge, ensuring relief supplies reached the disaster area in time.
After Sishui suffered an ice disaster in spring and a drought in summer, the group responded to the call of the Jining Civil Affairs Bureau and donated 20 tons of wheat flour worth 50,000 yuan free of charge. The supplies reportedly reached the Sishui County Civil Affairs Bureau at 3 p.m. that day.
