On 24 May 2013, the group’s first 2013 new-employee welcome and mentor-apprentice signing ceremony was held in the group conference room.
The 63 new employees signing on averaged 20 years of age, with 94% holding college or vocational diplomas — a high overall calibre matching the group’s need for young technical talent. New-worker representatives Li Xin, Wang Yi, Du Xiaoya, Li Ming and Li Wenhui spoke at the meeting, and Wenshang GM Chen Qingsong welcomed the newcomers on behalf of the production companies.
Finally, Chairman Gao Fengguo gave a warm address, recounting the group’s history and the domestic and international situation, and earnestly hoping the new employees would use the military training and welcome as a chance to find their footing, study hard and integrate quickly — keeping a good mindset, making the role transition, both reaching for the stars and keeping their feet on the ground, and contributing anew to Lisheng’s growth.
